Kate Mulligan Managing Director Read Profile
Kate leads the legal practice for King Irving and specialises in fund creation and operation. Kate has over 30 years’ experience in Financial Services law and senior funds management roles.

In addition to being a Senior Associate at international legal practice Allens, she has been Managing Director of several funds management businesses, including Westpac’s Advance Asset Management.

This combined experience gives her a practically informed approach. Kate is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and of the Law Society of New South Wales.

Kate is a also Non-Executive Director of the Australian Payments Network Limited (AusPayNet) and chairs its IAC Issuers and Acquirers Forum. She served as a Non-Executive Director of Netwealth Holdings Limited, where she was a member of the Superannuation Trustee Board and Chair of the Audit Committee.

Richard provides our clients with specialist strategic advice with an expertise in the area of compliance. He has over 25 years’ experience in the financial services industry and his ‘know how’ extends across superannuation, operations and compliance for financial service businesses.

Early in his career, Richard established a reputation as a superannuation and technical expert which led to senior management roles at NRMA, where he was General Manager for Superannuation, and at Deutsche Bank. Richard also served as the Chair of the Compliance Committee for a large investment and superannuation fund manager.

At King Irving, Richard manages compliance and operational support for our clients. This extends to the design and implementation of compliance systems, and AML/CTF and Privacy processes.

Richard is also a qualified commercial pilot.

Eda Ince Solicitor Read Profile
As part of the legal team at King Irving Consulting Group, Eda provides legal support to fund management businesses in establishing, structuring and operating their business in Australia. She is known for providing accurate and comprehensive legal advice on financial services regulation and funds management.

Eda has worked in the construction litigation and restructuring/insolvency team of a large commercial practice, and in a specialist property valuations practice. These roles helped Eda develop her strong corporate governance skill set.

Eda is a member of the Law Society of New South Wales.

George has an interest in supporting start-up companies. He is a member of Wollongong’s co-working space, Zig Zag Hub.
